The Aguilera Brothers are award winning siblings who carry on their family tradition by working together to plant, pick, and process coffees from 60 hectares of farmland

Their father was one of the first in the 1940s to plant coffee in the area.  The 12 Aguilera brothers and sisters divide the work, with two of the brother, Felipe and Erasmo, overseeing most of the mill operation as well as the drying areas.

The family do some of their drying on tarps that are laid out along one side of a large field below their micromill.  Also in this space is a football field that the family created for the pickers and local community to use and enjoy.  They are very active in the community and their family spirit extends beyond the farms and the mill.

The tasting notes in the coffee of caramel, cream and raisin lead to a well balanced coffee which is perfect for espresso as well as filter.
